Gens & Associates is conducting an IDMP Vendor Readiness and Capability Assessment to understand the planned offerings and timelines for the software solutions necessary for industry to prepare for the upcoming EMA IDMP/SPOR submission requirement. This is a significant event for life sciences organizations and as the trusted and unbiased source of RIM benchmarking, we feel it is important to help industry prepare for this major milestone over the next 2 years.
The purpose of this Provider Assessment is to complete a fair and objective evaluation of available and planned IDMP/SPOR software provider solutions, capabilities, and roadmaps.
We will provide a detailed report in the mid-July timeframe detailing our findings that will explore the following areas:
- Understand and contrast the software providers – what the available and anticipated solutions?
- What are the anticipated timelines for solution availability?
- What is the system functionality design strategy & approach for each solution?
– E.g., How the IDMP data points are implemented within each solution; How the solution supports the lifecycle of a registrations’ IDMP data - Understand the major functionality capabilities for each solution
- What are the implementation capabilities of each software solution provider (services, org. bandwidth)?
- Review the architecture approach for each solution
– E.g., On premise vs cloud vs SAAS (single vs multi-tenant); integration capabilities with other source systems/data aggregation solutions (hubs, warehouses, etc)
