In our recent research and consulting work with a variety of Life Sciences companies, we found a high interest level in understanding the status and changing trends for collecting, analyzing, and using Regulatory Intelligence information more effectively globally.
We conducted our first Regulatory Intelligence pulse survey in late 2018 with some very interesting results. In our 2022 World Class Regulatory Information Management survey of 76 companies, 65% of the participants indicated interest or possible interest in participating in a Regulatory Intelligence (RI) pulse survey as this is a growing unmet need. The study design will be finalized in early September with an anticipated survey open date of Monday September 19th. The survey will be closed in early November with the results expected by early December. The short survey (under 15 questions) will explore regulatory intelligence from both a sponsor (industry) and software provider standpoint. We will detail how companies collect, curate, and distribute regulatory intelligence information, their approach or planned approach to automating these activities, and their approach integrating RI into regulatory systems and processes.
Survey Policy
Our operating principles remain the same as in our previous surveys:
- 1.) Your company information is held in strict confidence and is never released to any organization (this is one of our core tenants). All participating companies are blinded in the study results. There is no way for another participating company to understand how each individual company responded to the survey
- 2.) All participating companies receive the detailed results (PPT) containing the analysis summary, and question by question results
- 3.) There is a community debrief session to review and discuss the results. There is no limit to the number of participants in a debrief session
- 4.) There is no fee to participate in this survey
- 5.) All participating companies may use the results freely within their internal organization with proper citation. Permission can be granted to utilize benchmark information (with proper citation and credit) outside your organization upon written request
- 6.) Typically, only one survey response is allowed per company unless you have distinctly different divisions (e.g. biopharmaceutical, medical device, or consumer products). Please let us know if you wish to submit multiple entries (one per division). We will do a cross-analysis of your multiple responses for your debrief session
