Get Ready – Our most comprehensive Regulatory Research in 17 years!

By Katherine Yang-Iott

What does strong performance look like for Regulatory Organizations, especially in the new pandemic environment? Have the past 2 years of pandemic trials and tribulations resulted in new innovative practices and further organizational agility? Are companies accelerating business value from their regulatory system and process investments, inching closer to our strong performance and world class levels? There is so much happening that we can’t help but be curious during the most research-rich period of our firm’s history. We have been busy digging into the data to learn what it means for the regulatory community.

World Class RIM Industry Standard & Data Quality Framework

Over the past few months, every member of our core research team has been deeply engaged with our community: asking questions, sharing information, listening, and learning. We developed the latest version of the World Class RIM study (the most comprehensive one to date), created the follow up study for the COVID-19 Regulatory Impact pulse research, strengthened our data governance and sustainability model, and collaborated with fellow consulting firms to present our insights for our Quality beyond Compliance benchmark.

3-Phase Organization Evolution Model from COVID-19 Pandemic

Our 2022 World Class RIM, the industry standard, set a record for participating companies. Not only did we welcome more smaller companies, we also expanded our research to better understand the role of organizational characteristics on overall regulatory performance, such as the impact of culture and workforce investments on overall performance which is now a part of the participant peer rating. With the recently adjourned WCRIM study and the Covid19 Regulatory Impact pulse research, we have the advantage of compiling both sets of data together for an even more robust view of the regulatory landscape. Truly, there is much to discover.

Over the next few months, we will be sharing what we learn, and we can’t wait. So, get ready to satisfy your curiosity and we bet you’ll discover some gold to help improve your organization.
